Communications: Where to Return Excess Loudspeaker Control Units

BLUF: Excess LS-671/VRC SINCGARS loudspeakers should be turned in to two depots; the place depends on condition code.

Dear Connie,

I remember reading that there’s a shortage of LS-671/VRC SINCGARS loudspeakers, NSN 5965-01-222-1420. I’m in the Army maintenance community and sometimes find units with excess LS-671/VRCs. The majority are Condition Code A, as most of the speakers are from uninstalled radio installations due to vehicle turn-ins over the years.
Is there a place to send the excess?

Yes! Excess inventory can be sent to the following addresses, depending on the condition code:
 
  • Send serviceable (Condition A) units to:
W1A8 DLA DISTRIBUTION
DDSP NEW CUMBERLAND FACILITY
2001 NORMANDY DRIVE DOOR 113 TO 134
NEW CUMBERLAND PA 17070-5002
 
  • Send unserviceable units to:
