SecDef Message to the Force

Troops, listen up...

MSG Half-Mast here. Readiness starts with understanding. Understanding how we, as individual Warfighters, fit into the larger picture. Understanding how the tasks we perform--such as PMCS--contribute to the success of our teams, units, service components and, ultimately, the Department of Defense. Understanding the strategic landscape and the priorities that guide what we do every day.

The attached memorandum from the SecDef lays out three priorities: defending the Nation, taking care of people and succeeding through teamwork.Take a few moments right now to read it!
